The problem
The Duplicate command sits in the Action menu of nearly every list and form view, always visible to anyone with write access. Sales reps clone confirmed orders into phantom pipeline, warehouse staff duplicate stock moves and corrupt counts, and accounting users copy posted entries that need correction — and there is no native, configuration-driven way to switch it off for the roles that should not have it.
The solution
Build a rule from a settings screen: pick a model, choose which of Duplicate, Delete, Export and Archive to restrict, and target a group, a user, or everyone. The command disappears from both list and form views automatically, a backend guard blocks any attempt that still reaches the server, and every blocked attempt is written to an audit log — all without touching a single view.
