Vendors send bonus stock and sales teams give away free samples, but standard Odoo purchase and sales flows cannot record the extra units cleanly. Adding them as ordered quantity inflates unit cost and COGS; leaving them off the order under-receives or under-picks in the warehouse. Zero-priced variants and manual discount lines dodge the price but break tax reporting, three-way matching and stock valuation — and nobody records why the units were free.

Free Goods & Bonus Quantities adds a dedicated Bonus Qty and a Free of Cost toggle to every purchase and sales order line. Bonus units flow through to receipts, deliveries, vendor bills and customer invoices at full physical quantity and a locked €0 price, valued in stock exactly as your company chooses. Threshold rules auto-apply with a pre-confirmation preview, and every free line carries a managed reason code.
