Configure
Run the Guided Setup wizard to flag which serial-tracked products should automatically create equipment assets.
Receive or Adjust
Process a receipt or inventory adjustment as normal; matching serial units become full Equipment Asset records automatically.
Track and Relocate
Move equipment between locations individually or in bulk with the Relocate wizard; every move is written to the audit trail.
Monitor and Report
Review state, depreciation and value across the fleet from the kanban, list and manager dashboard views.

Automatic creation needs the product to use serial (lot) tracking so an individual unit can be identified. You can also create equipment records manually for products without serial tracking.
