The problem
In standard Odoo, a saved Favorite is effectively read-only. Changing what it matches means deleting it and rebuilding from scratch, or diving into developer mode to edit raw domain syntax — options unavailable to the sales reps, accountants, and clerks who rely on favorites every day. Saved filters quietly rot instead of evolving with the business.
The solution
Edit Favorite Filter adds a safe, human-readable editor reachable straight from the Favorites menu. Users see plain-language conditions instead of domain expressions, a live matching-record count before they save, and a one-click revert if something looks wrong — so editing a favorite is finally as easy as creating one.
