Clear your quotation backlog, safely in bulk
A guided wizard that previews, validates, and cancels selected sales quotations in one action — from the Action menu you already use, on both list and kanban views.
The problem
Sales teams that run high-volume or seasonal quotation cycles accumulate large backlogs of stale, expired, or duplicate drafts. Standard Odoo only cancels one quotation at a time — open the record, click Cancel, go back, repeat — turning a routine cleanup into hours of repetitive clicking that pollutes reporting and clutters every list and kanban view.
The solution
Select any number of quotations, launch Bulk Cancel Quotations from the Action menu, and review a live preview of exactly which records will be cancelled and which will be safely skipped — before anything happens. Add an optional cancellation reason, confirm once, and read a clear summary of what was done.

Bulk cancel from the Action menu
Select several quotations and launch the wizard directly from the standard Action dropdown — no developer mode, no server action wiring, works out of the box.
Works from list and kanban
The exact same guided wizard is available from both the list/tree and kanban selections, so you never have to leave your preferred view.
Pre-cancellation preview
See the exact reference, customer, total and status of every selected quotation before you confirm — no blind "Are you sure?" prompts.
Automatic eligibility checks
Only quotations and orders in a cancellable state are acted on; already cancelled records are automatically excluded and clearly labelled.
Confirmed-order protection
Locked orders and confirmed orders that are already fully invoiced are automatically skipped, protecting fulfilled orders from accidental cancellation.
Cancellation reason capture
Record an optional free-text reason for the batch; it is posted straight to each cancelled order's chatter for a lasting audit trail.
Post-run result summary
After the batch runs, see exactly how many quotations were cancelled and how many were skipped, plus the reason for every skip.
How it works
Select quotations
Check the records you want to clean up from the Quotations list or kanban view.
Launch the wizard
Open Action > Bulk Cancel Quotations to start the guided flow.
