Odoo's native pivots can slice orders many ways, but they never produce a clean, print-ready document grouped by product category with subtotals and a grand total. Procurement, sales and finance teams export raw data to a spreadsheet and rebuild the grouping and formatting by hand every reporting cycle — and every existing marketplace app covers only one of sale, purchase, or invoice documents, so buyers end up patching together several single-purpose apps.
The solution
One report engine covers sale orders, purchase orders and customer/vendor invoices. A guided wizard collects the document type, date range, category and partner filters, previews the category-grouped breakdown on screen, then generates identical PDF, Excel and CSV exports — with drill-down to the underlying orders, period comparison, budgets and scheduled email delivery built in.
