Find any order line, instantly — on the POS Order form
A real-time search toolbar above the order-lines list lets back-office staff filter, highlight and count POS order lines by name, reference, barcode or description — without scrolling through dozens of rows.
The problem
Point of Sale orders can carry dozens of lines, and every back-office review, refund or reconciliation starts the same way: scrolling the order form to find one product. A customer calls about a single item on a large receipt, and the agent has no way to search — only to scroll, squint and count rows by eye.
The solution
A search toolbar appears directly above the order-lines list on the POS Order form. Type a product name, internal reference, barcode or sales description and matching lines are highlighted instantly, with a live "X of Y lines" count — entirely client-side, with zero configuration to install.

Instant type-to-filter
Type into the search box above the order lines and matches update on every keystroke — no button to click, no server round-trip while typing.
Four searchable fields
Matches product name, internal reference, barcode and sales description together, so one search box covers however the customer describes the item.
Colour-coded match source
Each matching row is bordered by colour — green for name, blue for reference, orange for barcode, purple for description — with a legend, so you see why a line matched.
Live "X of Y lines" count
A badge next to the search box always shows how many lines match out of the order total, so you instantly know whether to refine your search.
No hard result cap
Every matching line is shown, never silently truncated — non-matching rows are simply hidden, so nothing is missed on very large orders.
Product image in results
A small product image column sits alongside every line, helping you visually confirm the right item among similarly named variants.
Clear (×) button and Esc
A one-click clear button and the Escape key instantly reset the search and show the full order again.
Clear "No matching lines" state
When nothing matches, an explicit "No matching lines" message and a "0 of Y" count remove any doubt about whether the search ran.
Zero configuration
The search toolbar appears on every POS Order form immediately after install — no settings screen, no setup wizard, nothing to enable.
How it works
Open the POS Order
Go to Point of Sale > Orders > Orders and open any order, including refund and edited orders.
See the search toolbar
The search box appears above the order-lines list on the Products tab, already showing the full line count.
Type name, reference or barcode
Matching lines highlight and the count updates on every keystroke, with a colour showing why each line matched.
Clear and repeat
Press Escape or click the clear button to reset and search again — nothing on the order is ever changed by searching.
