All your sale order lines, one view away
Sale Order Line Views turns every sale.order.line into a first-class, searchable, and analyzable record — list, form, kanban, pivot, graph, and calendar in one place under Sales.
The problem
Sale order lines are locked inside their parent orders. Answering questions like which products sold best this quarter, which lines are still uninvoiced, or what a customer bought across every order means opening orders one by one or falling back on disconnected reporting tools that feel like analyst software, not part of the daily sales workflow.
The solution
Sale Order Line Views surfaces every line as its own browsable, searchable, and analyzable record. One dedicated menu under Sales gives you list, form, kanban, pivot, graph, and calendar views of every line across every order — with ready-made filters and group-by presets so answers are one click away, not a custom report.
Everything you need to work with order lines
Every capability below is implemented in the module.
Consolidated line list
Browse every sale order line across every order in one dense, scannable list with order, customer, product, quantities, and subtotal — plus running sums for quantities and amounts.
Detailed line form
Open any line to see and safely edit quantity, price, discount, and description without leaving the line to hunt through the parent order.
Kanban triage board
Card-based view of order lines showing product, order, customer, quantity, and subtotal, with order status and invoice status badges for quick visual triage.
Pivot analysis
Cross-tabulate subtotal, quantity ordered, delivered, and invoiced by product and order month to answer questions like which products sold most this quarter.
Graph analytics
Visualize subtotal by product as a bar chart, with one click to switch to line or pie — spot trends without leaving the Sales app.
Calendar timeline
See order lines plotted on a calendar by order date, color-coded by customer, to understand sales activity over time at a glance.
Ready-made filters and group-by presets
Jump straight to My Lines, Quotations, Confirmed Orders, To Invoice, Fully Invoiced, or Not Delivered, and group by customer, product, order, salesperson, status, company, or order month — stack several at once.
Inline order and invoice status
Every list, kanban, and form view shows order status and invoice status inline, so you can triage draft, confirmed, and uninvoiced lines without opening each order.
Dedicated, grantable access group
A dedicated security group controls who can browse and edit the order-line views, granted automatically to salespeople and easy for admins to extend to other roles.

Edit or drill down
Open a line to update quantity, price, or discount, or drill down from a pivot or graph total to the exact lines behind it.
Frequently asked
No sales fog. If your question isn't here, email us and we'll answer it the same way.
No. It extends the existing sale.order.line model with a single stored date field and ships views only — your sale orders and lines stay exactly where they are; this module just gives you a dedicated way to browse and analyze them.
