The problem
Odoo's stock POS flow ends at payment and receipt with no captured acknowledgement. High-value sales, on-account tabs, and deliveries collected at the till all need proof the customer accepted the amount — and managers need to know who authorized a discount, price change, or cancelled order. Businesses fall back on paper slips or nothing at all, and disputes have no record to point to.
The solution
A touch-optimized signature pad captures customer and/or cashier signatures on any order, with the name auto-filled and the date stamped automatically. Restricted actions can require a manager PIN, and every override is logged to a real audit trail. The signature then follows the order — onto the receipt, the backend order view, and the customer invoice.

Capture either party independently, with the customer name auto-populated from the selected customer and always editable and optional.
Per-Transaction Requirement
Set a default of none, customer, cashier, or both from POS settings — cashiers can still capture either signature on demand for any order.
Receipt Display Preview
One consolidated settings panel toggles signature image, name, and date on the receipt, with a live preview of the combined result before you go live.
Manager PIN Approval
Require a manager PIN before an orderline is removed or a whole order is cancelled — each gate is independently switchable.

Every manager-approved override is materialized as a real, searchable backend record — who approved it, what it was, and when.
Signature on the Invoice
The captured signature carries automatically onto the customer invoice, so proof of acceptance survives past the POS session.
Create Sales Order From POS Order
One click on the order record creates a draft sales order, copying the partner, lines, and the signature onto the SO's own signature fields.
Unified Backend Signature View
A dedicated tab on the order form shows both signature images side by side alongside the related audit log entries — nothing to hunt for.
How it works
Configure
Turn on customer and/or cashier signature capture, set the default requirement, and set the manager PIN in POS settings.
Capture
The cashier opens the signature dialog; the customer or cashier signs on the touch pad with the name pre-filled and editable.
Enforce
Removing a line or cancelling an order asks for the manager PIN when approval is enabled, and logs the outcome either way.
Review
Signed orders, receipts, invoices, and the full audit log are all visible from the backend order view.
