The problem
Correcting on-hand quantities after a physical count or a data migration means opening one product at a time in the standard Inventory Adjustment screen. For a warehouse with hundreds of SKUs that is slow and repetitive, and if a number is mistyped there is no way to review the change before it hits stock, or undo the batch afterward.
The solution
Mass Product On-Hand Quantity Update lets you select any number of products from the list, type or import the counted quantities into a preview grid, and apply them all at once — using Odoo’s own inventory-adjustment engine, so stock moves are created and valued exactly as they would be from the standard screen.

Preview grid before commit
See current on-hand, counted quantity, and the difference for every line — color-coded green or red — before anything is applied.
Inline validation
Negative counts, missing lot/serial numbers on tracked products, and other invalid entries are flagged on the line before you can apply the batch.
Quick or Audited mode
Run routine corrections in Quick mode, or switch to Audited mode when a reason must be recorded on every line for compliance.
Durable audit history
Every batch is recorded with who ran it, when, the mode, and a full line-by-line before/after — nothing is lost after you click Apply.
One-click batch undo
Made a mistake? Open the batch and revert it — every line is restored to its previous on-hand quantity in one action.
CSV import for large counts
Load counted quantities straight from a CSV file, matched by internal reference or barcode, instead of typing every line by hand.
Launch from the product list
Select any number of products or variants in the list view and start the update straight from the Actions menu — no separate app to open.
Location-aware counts
Set a default storage location for the whole batch, or override it per line, so counts land in the right place.
Lot/serial support
Tracked products carry their own lot or serial field in the grid, so lot- and serial-tracked stock is not left behind by the bulk update.
How it works
Select products
Tick any number of products or variants in the list, then choose Mass Update On-Hand from the Actions menu.
Set mode and location
Choose Quick or Audited mode, pick the default location, and optionally load counts from a CSV file.
Review the preview grid
Enter counted quantities and check current vs. counted vs. difference, with any validation errors called out on the line.
Apply and, if needed, undo
Applying creates a logged batch you can review any time in History — and revert in one click if something needs correcting.
