Manufacturing Products Label adds allergen, nutrition, and ingredient content to every product, then prints barcode-ready compliance labels straight from the Manufacturing Order — automatically on completion, or on demand from a batch print wizard.
The problem
Food, beverage, and pharma manufacturers must apply accurate, regulation-ready labels the moment a batch comes off the line — ingredients, allergens, energy and nutrition values, lot numbers, and barcodes all have to match the product master data exactly. Native Odoo MRP has no built-in way to do this, pushing manufacturers toward costly custom development, while the few paid alternatives split the job: one covers compliance content but not the print workflow, the other prints well but has no allergen or nutrition fields at all.
The solution
Manufacturing Products Label puts compliance content and a real batch print workflow in a single product. Every product carries ingredients, allergens with icons, energy and nutrition per 100g, pack details, and usage instructions. Labels print automatically when a Manufacturing Order is marked done, or on demand from the MO, its Actions menu, or a wizard that sets quantities for the whole batch and lets you override, reorder, group, or exclude labels before you commit paper.

Auto-print on MO completion
Labels print automatically the moment a Manufacturing Order is marked done, using the product's configured template and the lot actually produced — no extra click, no leaving the shop floor.
Print from the MO, list, or Actions menu
Reprint or print on demand from the Manufacturing Order form, the Manufacturing Orders list, or the Actions menu — for reprints, partial batches, or manual runs.
Barcode on every label
Every label carries the product barcode, rendered directly from Odoo's barcode field for reliable scanning across warehouse and retail intake.
Lot and serial traceability
Labels pull the exact lot or serial number produced by the Manufacturing Order, so every printed unit is traceable back to its production run.
Ingredients and pack details
Capture ingredient lists, pack details such as net weight and units per case, and usage instructions once on the product, and print them on every label automatically.
Allergens, energy, and nutrition
Tag products with allergens from a preset library shown as icons, and record energy (kJ/kcal) and a full nutrition table per 100g — the regulated content food and pharma labels require.
Pre-built food, pharma, and general templates
Start from ready-made Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, and General/Barcode-only templates with full, compact, and barcode-only layouts, instead of building a compliant layout from scratch.
Batch print wizard with live control
Set a label quantity for the whole batch, then override individual lines, drag to reorder, group by product, or exclude specific labels — all before the print run commits.
Centralized settings panel
Configure the default label template, default auto-print behavior, and default print quantity from one Manufacturing settings panel, instead of hunting through Technical menus.

Produce as usual
Run the standard produce, enter-lot, mark-done Manufacturing Order workflow — no change to how operators already work.
