The problem
Odoo's native stock reports show current on-hand quantities and raw move logs, but not a period statement. Inventory controllers, warehouse supervisors, and accountants end up exporting raw moves and rebuilding opening balance, in/out totals, and closing balance by hand in a spreadsheet — slow, error-prone, and impossible to reproduce for the next audit.
The solution
Cerevantix Inventory Stock Movement runs the full period statement inside Odoo: pick a date range and optional filters, and it computes opening, incoming, outgoing, and closing balance per product — in quantity and value — with every underlying move categorized and one click away. Read it on-screen, then export to PDF or Excel.

Automatic opening and closing balances
Opening balance, incoming and outgoing quantity, closing balance, and net movement are computed automatically for any date range — no spreadsheet math required.
Value alongside quantity
Every balance is shown in value as well as quantity, using each product's current cost, so the report doubles as a valuation snapshot without needing the Accounting app.
Movement categorization
Each contributing move is tagged as a purchase, sale, internal transfer, manufacturing order, inventory adjustment, or scrap, so you see why stock moved, not just that it moved.
Drill-down to the source document
Click from an aggregated product line into the individual moves behind it, each linked back to its originating transfer, purchase order, sale order, or manufacturing order.
Optional, never mandatory filters
Filter by date range, warehouse, location, product, product category, partner, and operation type — every filter is optional, so you can go as broad or as narrow as the question demands.
Lot, serial, and expiry visibility
Movement detail includes lot and serial numbers and expiration dates where tracked, giving regulated and perishable-goods teams the traceability a plain move log leaves out.

How it works
Open the report wizard
Launch Stock Movement Report from the Inventory Reporting menu, or from the stat button on any product form.
Set your filters
Pick a date range and, optionally, warehouses, locations, products, categories, partners, or operation types. Nothing is mandatory.
Generate the statement
Click Generate Report to see opening, in, out, and closing balance per product, in quantity and value, with column totals.
Drill down or export
Open any line for its move-by-move detail, or export the full statement as a landscape PDF or an Excel workbook.
