The problem
A customer's item scans to nothing, or it simply is not in the catalog yet. The cashier has to abandon the register or call a manager into the backend while the queue behind the counter grows. Every new arrival, seasonal SKU, or unregistered barcode turns into a live-trading interruption instead of a completed sale.

Guided creation checklist
A single-screen, ordered checklist — name, barcode, price, category — lets any cashier finish creating a sellable product in under 30 seconds without leaving the order.
Barcode-first on unknown scans
Scanning a barcode the POS does not recognize opens the creation checklist pre-filled with that code, turning a dead-end scan straight into a new product instead of an error.
Straight into the cart
The moment a product is created it is added to the current order with no POS reload or session restart, so the sale keeps moving.
One-tap quick templates
Managers configure quick product templates for the store's common item types; a cashier taps one to fill price, tax, category, and stock tracking in a single step.
Auto-categorization suggestions
As a cashier types a product name, keyword rules suggest the right POS category automatically, so non-managerial staff no longer have to guess.
Opening stock and variants
Set an opening quantity at the moment of creation, and build attribute-based variants such as size or color, so multi-variant items no longer force a trip to the backend.
Batch onboarding
Register a whole rack of new stock in one pass with a multi-row barcode, name, and price grid instead of repeating the single-product flow item by item.
Edit products at the counter
Cashiers can correct an existing product's price, category, or description directly from the Product Info popup, with no backend access required.
Manager control and traceability
An optional manager-approval gate keeps creation and edits under control, and every product born at the counter carries a Created from POS badge on its backend form.
