The problem
When a product has several approved suppliers, Odoo silently picks the first one on the list for every purchase order or dropship order it generates. There is no way to see, compare, or override which vendor fulfils a specific sale order line, so sales and procurement staff fall back to editing the resulting purchase order by hand or juggling the decision in a spreadsheet.

A vendor field lives right on the sale order line, backed by a ranked comparison of every approved supplier's price, lead time, availability, and rating. Reliable PO propagation
The chosen vendor flows through to the generated purchase order for both the stocked/dropship procurement path and the purchased-service path, so procurement always acts on the intended supplier.
Order consolidation control
Choose whether lines routed to the same vendor are merged into one purchase order or kept separate, matching how your purchasing team already works.
Cost-savings report
A dedicated report compares the price actually paid against Odoo's default first-vendor pick, showing realized savings per order and over time.
