Type-ahead autocomplete on Contacts
Start typing a street address and pick a suggestion — street, street 2, city, state, postal code, and country fill in automatically, with a discoverable hint right on the field.
Customer Portal autofill
Customers updating their address on the My Account page get the same type-ahead suggestions, so your database stays clean even when the data comes from outside your team.
Setup diagnostics that never fail silently
Run a one-click connectivity test against your provider, see quota/status, and run a sample query — so a bad key or missing setup is caught in Settings, not by a confused user.
Choice of provider, keys stay server-side
Use Google Places or Mapbox with your own flat-fee API key. The key is read server-side only and is never sent to the browser.
Graceful degradation, always completable
A distinct message for "service unavailable" versus "no match found" means the form is never blocked — manual entry always works.
Per-country address validation
A configurable format library checks postal-code patterns per country, flags an invalid ZIP before save, and can restrict which countries offer suggestions.
Match confidence, right on the record
Every accepted suggestion carries a 0-100% confidence score, saved on the partner so anyone reviewing the record can judge how reliable it is.
One-click duplicate detection
The Check Duplicates button surfaces likely matches sharing a postal code, street, and country, or an identical email, before a duplicate record is created.
Full address-change audit trail
Every edit — manual, autofill, import, or creation — is logged with the before/after address, who made it, and which provider or confidence score was involved.
