The problem
Odoo websites are public by default, and there is no simple, non-technical way to say “everything behind the front door requires a login.” Private content, pricing, and internal pages leak to anonymous visitors, search engines, and competitors. The one existing app on the market is all-or-nothing: a single checkbox that locks the whole site with no way to keep a pricing, contact, or terms page public.
The solution
Website Force Visitor Login gates the whole site at the dispatch level, then gives you back the control the incumbent lacks: a granular URL whitelist to keep chosen pages public, a branded gate page that explains why login is required, automatic return to the exact page a visitor requested after they sign in, and gate-hit analytics — all configured from Website Settings.

Force Login Gate
A dispatch-level interceptor blocks anonymous visitors before they reach any routed page or CMS page — there is no gap for a page to slip through unprotected.
One-Click Toggle
Turn the gate on or off per website from Website Settings, with the option to keep the home page public so the site stays discoverable.
Granular Public Whitelist
Exact, prefix, or regex URL rules let pricing, contact, and terms pages stay public while everything else is gated — no more all-or-nothing.
Return-to-Page
The originally requested URL is preserved through the gate, so visitors land back on the exact page they wanted immediately after signing in.
Explained Gate Page
Instead of a silent redirect, blocked visitors see a branded page with a configurable title, message, and call-to-action explaining why login is required.

Show a configurable preview of the gated page on the gate itself, giving anonymous visitors a reason to sign up instead of bouncing.

Session Timeout Re-auth
Optionally prompt logged-in visitors to re-authenticate after a configurable period of inactivity, so an expired session never leaves them in a confusing state.
Gate-Hit Analytics
Every blocked visit is logged with its URL and outcome, so you can see gate hits and blocked-to-converted trends in list, pivot, and graph views.
