Website Banner Slider gives marketing coordinators and store owners a self-service rotating banner slider with drag-and-drop ordering, start/end scheduling, and click-through analytics — all managed from the Odoo backend.
The problem
Changing a promotional banner today means hard-coding an image into a page (no rotation, no scheduling), calling in a developer for every update, or wrestling with a heavyweight page builder just to swap one picture. There is no way to queue "put the Black Friday banner up Friday, take it down Monday" in advance.

Manage banner Zones and Banners from one backend menu. Drag banners into order, set the rotation interval and transition per zone, schedule each banner's start and end date, preview the finished slider before it goes live, and track impressions, clicks, and CTR — no code, no developer.

Banner zones
Group banners into named zones — home hero, shop promotions, or any landing page — so different pages show different, purpose-built sliders instead of one slider everywhere.

Reorder banners within a zone by dragging a sequence handle — no typing numeric sequence values, no guesswork about which promotion shows first.
Adjustable timing and transition
Set the rotation interval and choose a slide or fade transition per zone, so text-heavy banners get more time and punchy promos rotate fast.
Start and end scheduling
Queue a banner to go live and expire on set dates. Seasonal campaigns launch and come down automatically — no manual "turn it on, turn it off" at the right moment.
Live status at a glance
Every banner shows its computed status — Scheduled, Live, or Expired — right in the list, so admins never wonder what is currently showing on the site.
Pre-publish preview
Open the exact public slider from the zone form before anything goes live, so admins can confirm appearance and rotation instead of publishing and hoping.
Click and impression analytics

Automatic homepage hero
