One package for compliant Vietnam accounting
Circular 99/2025 and 133/2016 charts, VAT-ready taxes, statutory vouchers, and HR account automation for Odoo 19 — guided setup, bilingual guidance, and a full audit trail included.
The problem
Vietnamese books must follow Ministry of Finance circulars, but Odoo ships no current, ready-to-file chart of accounts. Teams patch together a base chart, a per-circular add-on, tax codes, and HR account assignment from separate vendors, then hope junior staff post to the right accounts without training.
The solution
One installed package delivers both current MoF standards (Circular 99/2025 and 133/2016), a wizard that picks the right one for your company size, pre-configured VAT and statutory vouchers, inline bilingual account guidance for data entry, and automatic HR account sync — with a dashboard that shows exactly what was configured.
Everything a Vietnamese ledger needs
Every capability below is implemented in the module.
Dual current-standard charts
Circular 99/2025 (enterprise) and Circular 133/2016 (SME) — both current Ministry of Finance standards, ready to load.
Guided setup wizard
One company-size question recommends and applies the right circular, then configures taxes, HR sync, and guidance in a single step.
Vietnamese tax types & VAT reporting
VAT 0/5/8/10%, import/export, special consumption, and natural resource taxes, with VAT declaration report lines pre-mapped.
Statutory voucher reports
Print-ready Receipt Voucher (Mau 01-TT), Payment Voucher (Mau 02-TT), and Journal Voucher reports in compliant Vietnamese layouts, with editable payer and origin details and amount spelled out in words.
Bilingual account guidance
Vietnamese/English debit-credit meaning and usage notes on every account, surfaced inline on journal lines and in a dedicated guidance list grouped by tag.
Hierarchical account tagging
Accounts are auto-tagged with parent tag codes (e.g. 111 groups all 111xxx) for structured reporting that matches habits carried over from pre-Odoo systems.
HR account auto-assignment
Staff payable (TK 3341) and department expense (TK 642, with a matching 642x sub-account fallback) are assigned automatically to every employee and department, including existing records at install.
Configuration transparency dashboard
An audit log records every account, tax, employee, and department the module configured automatically, with a kanban and list view for quick review.
Multi-company safe, Odoo 19 ready
Vietnam configuration applies only to companies on the Vietnamese chart, leaving other companies untouched in mixed deployments.
How it works
Install & set company
Install the module and set your company's country to Vietnam so the chart, taxes, and reports become available.
Run the setup wizard
Answer a single company-size question; the wizard recommends Circular 99 or 133 and applies taxes, HR sync, and guidance automatically.
Work as usual
Post journal entries with inline debit/credit guidance, print Vietnamese statutory vouchers, and let HR account assignment stay in sync automatically.
Review the audit trail
Open the configuration dashboard anytime to see every account, tax, employee, and department the module touched.
Frequently asked
No sales fog. If your question isn't here, email us and we'll answer it the same way.
The module targets Odoo 19, Community and Enterprise editions, and depends only on Odoo's shipped l10n_vn and hr modules.
