The problem
Odoo's native ledgers show balances only in your home currency, collapsing every foreign invoice and bill into one converted total. Accountants trading with partners in EUR, GBP, ZAR, or any other currency have to export raw journal data and rebuild the real per-partner picture by hand every close — a slow, error-prone habit that hides true currency exposure and causes disputes with partners who expect statements in their own currency.
The solution
Generate a per-partner ledger in the currency you choose, on demand. Every line shows the native transaction amount, the converted report amount, and the applied rate side by side. Opening and closing balances, receivable-versus-payable segmentation, and unrealized FX gain/loss are computed automatically, with a guided filter wizard and one-click PDF or Excel export — no spreadsheet reconstruction, no paid customization required.
