Live elapsed-time display
A continuously updating HH:MM:SS counter shows exactly how long the current session has been running, on both the form and the Kanban card.
Kanban Start / Stop buttons
Start or stop a job's timer straight from the Kanban card, so technicians can log time without opening the full request.
Automatic timesheet generation
Stopping the timer automatically creates a timesheet entry linked back to the originating maintenance request, closing the gap that causes missing or duplicate entries.
Stop-timer wizard
A stop popup captures the project and technical remarks before the timesheet is generated, keeping every logged entry attributed and documented.
Configurable default project
Set a default timer project once in Settings and it pre-fills automatically on stop, so technicians rarely have to choose one.

Generated timesheet entries can be corrected manually after creation, so a mistimed job is fixed in seconds without leaving the workflow.
Expected-vs-actual deviation
Every request shows expected duration against actual logged time with a deviation percentage and status badge, turning raw time into an accountability signal.
Technician time-analysis reporting
Personalization-safe pivot and graph reports break down time by technician, maintenance type, and equipment, plus search filters for Running, Paused, and Over Budget requests.
How it works
Start the timer
Open a maintenance request or its Kanban card and click Start to begin timing the job.
Work with a live view
Watch the elapsed time tick up in real time on the form or card while the job is in progress; pause anytime without losing accumulated time.
Stop and confirm
Click Stop, confirm the project and add any technical remarks in the popup, and the timesheet is generated automatically.
Review the numbers
Check the expected-vs-actual deviation on the request, then compare technicians and jobs in the time analysis report.
