Every page on your Odoo website inherits the same header and footer, whether it fits or not. Landing pages, event pages, and embedded or print-friendly screens end up cluttered with navigation and footer links that hurt conversion — and removing them means asking a developer to hand-edit templates, one page at a time, in a way that rarely survives an upgrade.
The solution
Cerevantix gives site managers a checkbox-level admin screen to control header and footer visibility per page — the whole block, or just the logo, navigation, or search bar — with separate rules for desktop and mobile. A bulk-edit grid applies a rule to many pages in one action, so nothing has to be configured page by page.

Independent header & footer toggle
Hide the entire header or the entire footer on any page, independently of each other, using Odoo's native upgrade-safe visibility fields surfaced right on the page form.
Hide just the logo
Remove the site logo from the header on a single page while keeping the navigation menu and search bar in place — useful for embedded and co-branded pages.
Hide just the navigation menu
Drop the main navigation menu from the header without touching the logo or search bar, so a campaign page stays focused with no way out except the call to action.
Hide just the search bar
Turn off the header search icon and form on any page, keeping the rest of the header intact for pages where site search is not relevant.
Desktop-only or mobile-only header

Upgrade-safe, no template hacking
Built entirely as field additions and template inheritance on top of Odoo's own page and layout structure, so visibility rules survive upgrades instead of living in a hand-edited copy of the theme.
How it works
Open a page
Go to Website > Site > Pages, or the new Header & Footer Visibility grid, and select the page you want to adjust.
Choose what to hide
Toggle the whole header or footer, or hide just the logo, navigation, or search bar — keep the rest of the chrome exactly as it is.
Set the device
Pick all devices, desktop only, or mobile only for the header and footer independently, so the page adapts correctly everywhere.
Save and view live
Save the page — the change applies immediately, and you can apply the same rule to many pages at once from the bulk grid.
