The problem
Odoo's Repair app has no way to discount a single part line. Staff resort to manually editing unit prices, adding fake discount products, or moving the job into Sales — hiding the original list price and making it impossible to see how much margin was actually given away.

Enter either a percentage or a fixed monetary amount directly on a part line — whichever matches how the deal was actually negotiated.
Automatic total recalculation
The repair order's original untaxed total, total discounts, and net untaxed total update instantly as discounts are entered — no hand calculation, ever.
One-click bulk discounting
Discount all or selected part lines of a repair order in a single action from the Bulk Discount wizard, instead of editing each line one by one.
Reusable discount presets
Save standard discount levels — Loyalty 10%, Staff 15%, Clearance €10 fixed — so staff pick a consistent, pre-approved discount instead of retyping one from scratch every time.
Discount reason capture
Tag every discount with a reason — loyalty, competitor match, delay compensation, clearance — so the audit trail explains why a price was reduced, not just by how much.
Full discount audit trail
Every applied discount is logged with the amount, percentage, reason, user and repair order — reviewable anytime from the order's history stat button or the dedicated Discount History list.
Configurable maximum-discount ceiling
Set a maximum discount percentage in Settings that non-manager staff cannot exceed, so counter teams can be trusted to discount without risking excessive giveaways.
Original vs. discounted price, side by side
The list price is never overwritten or hidden. Original price, discount amount, and net subtotal all stay visible on the line so the discount is transparent to staff and customers alike.
Works on Community and Enterprise
Built directly on the standard Repair app with no extra dependencies, so it installs cleanly on both the Community and Enterprise editions.
How it works
Add part lines
Create or open a repair order and add part lines as usual — pricing works exactly like standard Odoo Repair until a discount is entered.
Discount a line or run Bulk Discount
Enter a percentage or fixed discount directly on a line, or open the Bulk Discount wizard to apply one discount — optionally from a saved preset — across several lines at once.
Totals update automatically
The order's original untaxed total, total discount, and net untaxed total recalculate immediately, with the original and discounted price both visible on each line.
Review the audit trail
Open the discount history stat button or the Discount History list anytime to see who discounted what, by how much, and why.
