Scan to Contact
Scan a QR code or vCard with the device camera, paste vCard text, or upload a.vcf file, and Odoo parses the fields straight into an editable contact preview.
Generate vCard QR
Produce a shareable vCard QR from any Contacts or Employees record, encoding name, job title, phone, email, company, department, and office location.
Dedup on Import
Every scan is checked against existing partners before saving; a duplicate warning and import-mode choice keep event captures from creating repeat records.
CRM Lead on Import
Optionally create a CRM lead directly from a scanned contact, so a captured card enters the sales pipeline without re-entry.
Batch Event Mode
Keep the scan wizard open across a whole session with a running counter and a Scan Next Card action, so a rep can capture card after card at a booth.
Configurable Field Mapping
An editable field-mapping list lets each company decide how incoming vCard fields map onto Odoo contact fields.
