The problem
The leading login-branding app on the market renders a blank login screen because its background image is served through a route that 403s for the unauthenticated public user — the exact page it is supposed to brand. Configuration is buried in General Settings with no guidance, no live preview, and no explanation when an image fails to appear, leaving administrators guessing whether the product is broken.
The solution
We serve every wallpaper through a public, sudo-elevated image route built on Odoo's own binary controller, and inject the background inline into the server-rendered login template — no asset bundle to fail, no access check to 403. A guided Settings block adds a live preview, a fallback color that always paints, and a diagnostic message the moment your configuration would leave the login unbranded.

Every upload is checked against PNG, JPG, GIF, and WEBP on save, with a clear error message naming the wallpaper and the problem instead of a silent failure.
Admin diagnostics
General Settings shows a warning the moment your configuration would leave the login unbranded — no wallpaper selected, an empty rotation pool, or no wallpapers at all.
