The problem
Native Odoo releases deliveries based on scheduled dates and simple availability, with no concept of an operational wave. Warehouse teams either release too early — congesting pick and pack and reserving stock prematurely — or too late, missing carrier cutoffs and breaking delivery promises. Supervisors fall back on spreadsheets and manual "release now" clicks, and sales has no visibility into whether a promised date is realistic.

Deliveries auto-assign on confirmation, cutoff and process-end times are tracked per channel with real-time breach warnings, and a lead-time-driven Preparation Plan tells the floor what must start today. Sales sees the channel and its predicted shipment date right on the quotation.

Preparation date is computed from the delivery date minus the channel's lead time, viewable grouped by channel and prep day, with past-due prep days flagged for immediate attention.
Carrier routing & blocking
Restrict a channel to specific carriers, auto re-route on carrier change, and block or unblock any individual delivery's release with a reason — visible right on the picking.
Sales-side channel visibility
Pick a release channel on the sale order and see the predicted shipment date before confirming — so sales never promises a date the warehouse cannot keep.
