EPR compliance, simplified across every EU market
Turn packaging data, sales orders and shipments into filed PPWR declarations — with eco-modulated fees, a double-counting guardrail and registration deadlines tracked for six EU member states out of the box.
The problem
The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation forces every business that places packaging on an EU market to register with national schemes, declare packaging weight by material and recyclability, pay eco-modulated fees, and — from 12 August 2026 — appoint authorised representatives for cross-border sales. The data needed lives scattered across product specs, shipments and sales records, so most teams rebuild it by hand in spreadsheets under deadline pressure, risking fines, lost market access and double-counted materials.
The solution
Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Compliance builds a packaging and component library, classifies every material against PPWR attributes, and aggregates placed-on-market weight straight from your confirmed sales orders. A guided setup wizard, CSV import and a country regime library covering six EU member states turn compliance into a byproduct of selling — not a separate spreadsheet exercise — while an inline double-counting guardrail protects the accuracy of every filing.
Everything an EPR filing needs
Every capability below is implemented in the module.
Multi-country regime library
Ships indicative 2026-era registration thresholds, categories and fee rates for Finland, Germany, France, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands — the regime and rate models are fully multi-country, so adding a market is data configuration, not a code change.
Automatic fee calculation
Fees are computed directly from confirmed sales orders using each product's packaging weight and the delivery country's rate table, so compliance happens automatically as part of selling.
Eco-modulated rates
Fee rates are versioned by recyclability grade and destination segment (consumer vs. B2B), so the correct modulated rate applies automatically and prior rate sets stay auditable year over year.
Packaging & component library
Classifies every component by material type with recyclability grade and recycled content percentage, and tracks reuse across products so the library gets leaner as your catalogue grows.
Double-counting guardrail
Flags shared, sleeve and void-fill materials that risk being counted twice, with an inline warning on the packaging form before a declaration is ever generated.
PPWR compliance engine
Runs each packaging unit against configurable PPWR design rules with an article reference per rule, and surfaces a pass/fail readiness state so you know exactly what to fix before you file.
Guided setup & CSV import
A first-run wizard walks you from business profile through markets and packaging templates to your first declaration, and a CSV import wizard loads packaging data for catalogues with many variants in minutes.
Deadlines & declarations
Tracks registration and filing deadlines per country with alerts, and generates scheme-specific declarations straight from your aggregated sales data with one wizard run.
Representatives & accounting
Configures authorised representatives for cross-border sales and posts booked EPR fees as journal entries automatically, keeping compliance and the books in sync.
How it works
Set up markets
Run the guided wizard to pick your sales markets, review the regime library and configure EPR accounting settings.
Build your packaging
Import components by CSV or add them individually, classify by material and let the readiness check catch double-counted weights.
Sell as usual
Confirm sales orders normally — EPR fees are calculated and attached per line from the packaging already linked to each product.
File on time
Generate scheme-specific declarations from your aggregated sales data and track every registration deadline on one calendar.
