The problem
Since May 2022, any EU merchant announcing a price reduction must display the lowest price offered in the preceding 30 days — this is enforceable consumer-protection law, not a guideline, and regulators actively audit it. Standard Odoo keeps no price history and computes no reference price, so marketing and pricing teams are left tracking discounts in spreadsheets or avoiding promotions altogether rather than risk a fine.
The solution
This module records every sales-price change, pricelist rule and daily snapshot per variant, pricelist and currency, then computes and displays the correct 30-day reference price automatically — on the product page, the shop grid, and every bundle. Merchants get a pre-promotion preview to check compliance before publishing, a plain-language explanation of the logic, and a one-click, regulator-ready audit log.

Rolling price history, captured automatically
Every sales-price change and fixed pricelist rule is logged per variant, pricelist and currency, plus a daily snapshot cron to keep the 30-day trail unbroken even when prices sit still.
Correct reference price, every time
Computes the legally-required lowest price in the last 30 days, automatically excluding running promotions and prices that were raised just to be lowered again — the directive’s anti-manipulation intent, enforced by default.
Storefront display, everywhere a price appears
The reference line renders on the product page and shop grid whenever a reduction is active, computed from the same hook that drives every product type, including bundles and configurable products.
Insufficient-history safeguard
When a product has fewer than 30 days of recorded history, the reference line is suppressed rather than showing a figure that could be legally wrong — a safeguard, not a bug, and the backend tells you why.
Pre-promotion compliance preview
See the exact reference price, discount percentage, and compliance status a planned promotion will show on the storefront — before it goes live, before a customer or regulator ever sees it.
Plain-language exclusion explanations

Article 6a of Directive 2019/2161 requires that whenever you announce a price reduction to EU consumers, you display the lowest price charged for that product in the 30 days before the reduction. This module captures the history and computes and displays that reference price automatically.
