The problem
Customers reject deliveries that arrive with less shelf life than their contract allows — a chilled-food retailer may require two-thirds of total life remaining, a pharmacy chain a fixed number of days. Odoo's native FEFO order has no concept of a per-customer minimum, so storekeepers are left reading expiry dates by hand and guessing which lots are safe to ship, finding out they guessed wrong only when a loaded truck is turned away at the dock.
